Everfree Fishing

A game for the 2023 /mlp/ Halloween game jam.

I recommend playing the desktop version over the browser. Browser version has some performance issues and visual bugs.

According to legends, rare and mystical fish appear under the moon of Nightmare Night. Join Midnight Shores on a late night fishing trip deep into the Everfree! Be ready to catch all sorts of strange and spooky fish!

Controls:

WASD - Move player

LMB - Charge and cast line, Reel in

RMB  - Break fishing line

SHIFT/SPACE - Use engine

TAB/ESC - Open inventory

Tips:

The fish of Everfree are quite feisty! Use the engine to resist the pull of a fish. If a fish gets too out of hand, you can always break the line!

Game might get updated to adjust balance as I get more people to playtest
